The Coterie – Social Media Case Study

The Coterie is a restaurant and bar overlooking a brand-new sports complex featuring state of the art football pitches and padel courts that has been open for less than one year. 

The Coterie serves up some of the famous British classic dishes as well as carving up arguably Dubai’s best roast dinner every Saturday and Sunday. A sports viewers haven, the Coterie shows a full sports schedule daily on screens to be seen from every angle possible. 

The Challange

With the Coterie only opening its doors in early 2023 the obvious challenge was to promote the new venue to as many people possible in order to ‘spread the word’ and also attract people in to sample the food, drink and venue itself. Located in IBN Battuta in a unique location the challenge would be to create awareness while also having customers take advantage of offerings or to try the venue for the first time. 

The Strategy and the result. 

Focusing on Instagram, Facebook & Tiktok the Social team working closely with the management and the Coterie created monthly content calendar’s and created and delivered a range of content both through Video, Photography and Graphic design to showcase the food and drink aspect of the venue while showcasing the venue in full targeting a range of potential customers from the Sunday Roast dinner crowd through to the sports enthusiast. Social Ad’s were run to attract both new customer and while retargeting existing and previous customer to advertise new offers and promote certain sporting events such as the Champions League final and the Rugby world cup.
